What to do to autocommit changes in particular directory?

I manage wordpress using GIT. What to do to make auto commit when my files in particular directory changes?

Where do I use this?

When I change something on my local version and then I commit and push changes, everything is ok, but for instance, when I add some photos directly on the server (example: add some photos via wp-admin on the server), this is not automatically committed. So I do not have this in my local repository. I want an info that sth was changes and I need to fetch last changes.

The question is:

1. What is a command to make auto commit?


2. Where to save this command? Create new file? Add some code to existing file?
