When I try to connect to Jetpack, I get the message (in backend):

xml_rpc-32700

The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site's XML-RPC URL. Please check to make sure http://ift.tt/1iacPng is working properly. It should show 'XML‑RPC server accepts POST requests only.' on a line by itself when viewed in a browser and should not have any blank links or extra output anywhere.

And when visiting http://ift.tt/1iacPng, I see the message:

This function has been disabled

Does anyone have a clue how to fix this?

Using (no other plugins):

• Jetpack 3.3.2
